This will be HLBWS’s final meeting of the 2022-2023 program year.. Plans for the morning include an 8:00 a.m. bird walk at Haley Nelson Park and some social time at 9:30 a.m. at the AgriLife building. Our business meeting starts at 10:00 a.m. and our invited speaker presents at approximately 10:30 a.m. Please check back here in mid-May for more information!
Workshop Title: “Ethics and the Nature Photographer”
Program length of time: 1 hr.
Description: Nature Photography Ethics has become a topic of controversy over the past few years with photographers pushing the limits to what can and should be done to create impactful images. How we make our images and how we label them defines us a photographers. During this presentation NANPA Ethics Committee Chair, Jennifer Leigh Warner will take a dive deep into this issue discussing the importance of social responsibility and maintaining public trust in the ethical considerations made during the creation of nature related imagery
