Trip Report - Fall Grand Teton National Park Photo Tour
We are back from our Fall Grand Teton National Park Photo Tour and as usual it was a great success. We had beautiful weather the whole trip, including a double rainbow arching over the barns on Mormon Row as well as watched day by day as the fall colors began to golden.
Landscape photography is always a must when in Grand Teton National Park. With the breathtaking mountain views and the fall leaves, you can’t help put capture the beauty of the location.
Fall in Grand Teton National Park is the time to photograph the rut. The rut is the mating season of certain mammals, which includes elk, moose, bison and pronghorn. This means that the wildlife are dressed to impress, with lots of activity in the park as everyone is looking for love.
When the nights are clear, Grand Teton National Park is one of the best places in the United States to photograph the milky way. We were lucky enough to get a couple of these nights and even saw the north sky with a green tint, leaving some of us to believe we saw the Northern Lights.
In addition to landscapes and animals in the rut, our guest were delighted to photograph some of the other birds and mammals that live in the park, both big and small.
