Trip Report - Spring Grand Teton National Park Photo Tour

A bull moose stands in the shadows of Grand Teton

Our 2022 Spring Grand Teton National Park Photo Tour was a roaring success. With 15 species of mammals photographed and at least 21 different species of birds, we kept our tour clients on their toes.

Making every moment count.

Jennifer Leigh Warner with tour guests Linda and Diane during our morning break at the Jackson Lake Lodge… Coffee and donuts is a must!

On day one we found Grizzly 610 and her new triplets. Mama bear was making her way along the hillside, with her COY’s trying hard to keep up.

On the second day we were treated with a dusting of snow. The park was a winter wonderland and with birds and bears in the snow it made for a beautiful scene.

By the third day we were finding everything from ground squirrels to sapsuckers. The sun was out and the wildlife was active. As the sun began to set we were treated with a sighting of the famous Grizzly 399 chasing after a black bear cub. The cub got away and after all the excitement calmed down the cub was reunited with its mom.

As we wrapped up our final morning outing we spent some time with the grizzly bear commonly known as Bonita and as we made our way back into town Linda spotted the very rare and exciting American Badger. He only gave us a quick view but it was a good one.

This trip was definitely one for the books. Fun times were had by all and amazing photographs were made.

If you missed out this spring fear not… we have three more chances for you to join in the fun. Click on the picture of the event to learn more.
