2022 has been a year for the record books. A year filled with many adventures, opportunities and new experiences. New friends were met, old friendships were reunited and many many images were created.
Throughout the year we were able to travel across the globe, working in the name of conservation, curiosity and education.
We want to share the accomplishments of our year with you and as always we like to do it through the images that were made along the way.
Celebrate the cheetah on December 4th! In 2010, Dr. Laurie Marker designated December 4th as International Cheetah Day. The annual celebration was set in remembrance of a cheetah cub named Khayam, that she raised at Wildlife Safari in Winston, Oregon.
As a Nature First Ambassador it is my mission to spread the message about responsible nature photography and help create resources for photographers to use to lessen their impacts on the nature world. Today I want to talk about Wildlife Photography.

Another successful Grand Teton National Park Photo Tour is in the books. With incredible animal sightings and beautiful landscapes there was no shortage of amazing photo opportunities.
In the 2022 May / June edition of Outdoor California Magazine my first feature conservation photo story was published about the Burrowing Owl Recovery Program.
Our group arrived in Namibia after their long journey half way across the world eager to get their long awaited photo adventure underway. Our first stop was at the Galton House in the Capital city of Windhoek. After some down time and a much needed nap we were treated to a fabulous dinner and a meet and great with our guide and naturalist Alpha.
Our 2022 Spring Grand Teton National Park Photo Tour was a roaring success. With 15 species of mammals photographed and at least 21 different species of birds, we kept our tour clients on their toes.
I have officially become a Photography Workshop Instructor with Wildside Nature Tours. Starting in January of 2023 my photo tours and workshops will be run through Wildside Nature Tours with my first tour happening in Jan 22-29 to Yellowstone.

I finally got my own DSLR Camera Trap yesterday. This is a type of photography I have been trying to get into for the past few years and I was finally got the opportunity to get my own kit. I took a workshop several years ago, so after receiving my kit yesterday I have been trying to remember everything I learned.

After my quick speaking engagement I headed west to San Diego to photograph the new signs put up in La Jolla Cove to protect the California Sea Lions I have been documenting over the past few years.
After a lot of hard work I drove up to Burbank to spend a few days celebrating my best friends Angie and my birthdays. We went to Universal Studios in Hollywood and the Warner Brother's Studio Tour.
